We booked only a single evening in Negombo, being near the airport, as we were flying residence the next day. The room was very spacious and clean. We did not choose breakfast, as had to leave at 6am to the airport. We might be delighted to go to Negombo yet again, and hopefully spend just a little longer there.

Hikkaduwa is good and simple, quite holidaymakers friendly for good friends, families and couples. Options to snorkel, surf, swim and relax on the beach. There is also massive techno parties on some nights and they're going to make an excessive amount of sound in the evening but it's just on evening the perfect time to time.

Negombo is in two areas. I used to be in the district of Negombo, near the airport not in Negombo alone. I didn't realise this nor was it designed crystal clear. I thought the hotel was an airport transit hotel. It wasn't t as it offered no shower and change facilities when you checked out. The reception area was tiny. There was no comfortable area to sit,no outside Room.
Beach is clean up but impossible to swim, however the view is amazing (daytime, sunset).
